Our services' traffic through the EU and all relevant local privacy laws like the GDPR apply. We do not set any non-functional cookies. Some data is stored but none of it is sold:
• Personal Information: Any data a user sets in their XMPP account and/or Nextcloud account is stored as long as the user keeps the data there. The data is not retained as soon as the user deletes it, with the exception of Nextcloud Files due to versioning. The data is only shared with whom the user chooses.
• Direct Messages: Messages through the XMPP services are retained for 7 days by default for MAM. The data is only shared with whom the user chooses. Messages sent to users on another service may be subject to that service's privacy policy as well.
• Multi-User Chat Messages: Messages through the XMPP services are retained for 7 days by default for MAM. Multi-User Chats are accessible to users from other services and may be subject to their service's privacy policy as well.
• THRIVE Community Multi-User Chat: It and its related Multi-User Chats are bridged to the THRIVE Beyond Religion's community Discord guild. Therefore all messages through the Multi-User Chat is subject to Discord's Privacy Policy.

We use XMPP-web as the web-frontend for unregistered access and channel listing.
We use Movim as the web-frontend for registered access.
